Her coaching journey began in 2004 at just 12 years old when she became the first-ever Junior Coach for the Chevington Woods Kingfish Swim Team. In 2011, she advanced to Co-Head Coach, leading the 10 & Under program and winning the TCAL Championship title! Later that year, Morgan earned a spot on the NCAA Division I swim team at Florida Atlantic University, where she competed from 2011–2013 while pursuing her degree in Biological Sciences. During her college summers, she returned to Ohio to serve as Head Coach of the New Albany Country Club Swim Team, combining her experience as both an athlete and coach. After graduating, Morgan became a Lead Age Group Coach for New Albany Aquatics Club, helping develop USA Swimming athletes through technical instruction, race strategy, and a positive team culture. She currently serves as the Head Coach of the Columbus School for Girls Middle School Swim Team, leading the program to a State Runner-Up finish at the Ohio Middle School Championships this past season. Along the way, she founded Spirit Swimming, growing it into a thriving swim lesson program built on quality instruction, confidence, and community. Today, that vision has expanded into Spirit Aquatics Club—a comprehensive swim, dive, and learn-to-swim program dedicated to creating a fun, welcoming environment where athletes of every age and ability develop lifelong skills, strong character, and a lasting love of the water.

is an accomplished swim coach with more than 20 years of coaching experience throughout Central Ohio. She has coached with the Bexley Marlins, New Albany Aquatics Club, Columbus Country Club, and Bexley High School, where she was recognized as the Columbus Dispatch All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2025 and CBL Coach of the Year in 2026. For the past three years, Sandy has been an integral part of Spirit Swimming’s Learn-to-Swim program, helping hundreds of young swimmers build strong fundamentals, gain confidence in the water, and develop a lifelong love of swimming. She is excited to expand the program as the Director of Learn-to-Swim and Age Group Competition at Spirit Aquatics Club, where she is committed to developing swimmers at every stage of their journey.

Jill has been a dedicated member of the Central Ohio diving community for more than 30 years and is passionate about helping divers of all ages and skill levels reach their potential.
As a head diving coach, Jill has led programs at several Central Ohio high schools, including Columbus School for Girls (CSG), Gahanna Lincoln, Bexley, Pickerington, and Columbus Academy. Since 2010, she has coached divers to the OHSAA State Diving Championships, helping develop multiple state champions, state finalists, and collegiate divers.
During the summer, Jill coaches at The Lakes Country Club and the Gahanna Pools, where she enjoys introducing new athletes to the sport and helping experienced divers continue to grow.
A former diver herself, Jill is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she earned a degree in Education. She currently serves as an Intervention Specialist at Worthington Christian School.
Outside of coaching and teaching, Jill enjoys running and hiking, exploring local thrift stores, traveling with her husband, Derek, and spending time with their three dogs.

Kelly Mason-Decker was a competitive swimmer for 14 years, swimming with the Chevington Woods Kingfish during the summer and the Jerry L. Garver YMCA Stingrays and Pickerington High School North during the winter seasons. Throughout high school and college, she spent five years as a junior and assistant coach for Chevington Woods Kingfish, where she discovered her passion for coaching and teaching. Kelly continued swimming on a club team while earning her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Miami University. She took a break from coaching while completing her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Missouri but continued to enjoy swimming laps in her free time. Now that she is back in her hometown, she is excited to return to the pool as a coach. She looks forward to sharing her love of swimming, helping athletes build confidence and strong technique, and creating a fun, positive environment for every swimmer.

Logan Griffith-Green has been coaching swimmers since the age of 17 and brings close to 16 years of coaching experience to the pool. A former highschool and collegiate swimmer, Logan has spent the last six years as an assistant coach for the Pickerington High School North swim program and has served as Co-Head coach for the Huntington Hills Froggers for the past several seasons. Outside of coaching, Logan is a Surgical Trauma ICU nurse and holds dual master’s degrees in Nursing and Business. Her coaching philosophy centers on building confidence, resilience, discipline and character while helping every athlete reach their individual potential in a positive team environment. Logan is excited to be joining the Spirit Aquatics Club and looks forward to helping swimmers grow as both athletes and individuals. As a swimmer, her favorite events were the distance freestyle and individual medley, where strategy, endurance and mental toughness came together. Today, she is enjoying a new chapter of life after welcoming a daughter this last spring and continues to stay active in the sport through open water swimming. Logan believes the lessons learned in the pool extend far beyond competition and is passionate about helping swimmers develop a lifelong love for the sport.

Kori has been involved in competitive swimming since the age of 5, swimming with GCSTO and the Canal Winchester Dolphins throughout her youth. She was one of just three swimmers to start her high school's swim team, the only female on the team at the time, and became the first female swimmer from her school to qualify for the state meet as a distance swimmer. Kori began coaching at just 15 years old, sparking a passion for helping young swimmers succeed. Since then, she has coached with the Canal Winchester Dolphins, Groveport Fighting Fish, Reynoldsburg Raiders, and GCSTO, where she served as a Level 4 Head Coach. She is passionate about stroke technique, swimmer development, and creating a positive, motivating environment, and is excited to join Spirit Aquatics to help every athlete reach their full potential.

Coach Kirby is a 2015 graduate of Columbus School for Girls and a 2019 graduate of Miami University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and is the Assistant Director of Development, Annual Fund & Stewardship at CSG. Kirby grew up swimming year-round at Worthington Swim Club and competed on CSG’s varsity swim team. She has coached at Worthington Hills Country Club, Unified Swim Club, and will also be coaching Middle School swimming at CSG this year!

Lily was a competitive swimmer in middle and high school. She has been teaching swim lessons for 8 years, and adaptive lessons for 3 years. She enjoys teaching lessons of all ages, and especially loves teaching the fundamentals of swimming. She is able to teach in English and American Sign Language. Lily also has experience with adaptive programming and working with children with different disabilities. She is currently a college student with her ASL and Deaf studies certification and studying special education. In addition to swim lessons, she is an aide to preschoolers with multiple disabilities at the Ohio School for the Deaf. In her free time, she likes to swim, read, camp, and hang out with her cats, Rosemary and Franklin.

Maci started competitively swimming in elementary school, then she went on to swim with a club team as well as her high school. She started teaching swim lessons 6 years ago. She coaches 9-10 year olds during the summer and in the winter time she coaches Wellington Middle School swim team. She is a student going to The Ohio State University and getting her bachelors in public health. She is working towards getting her doctorate in occupational therapy. Her favorite events in high school were the 100 butterfly and the 200 freestyle.
